TEMAA is an Istanbul based design studio offering architectural and interior design services to commercial, industrial and residential clients. Founded in 2024, by Ersin Temurcan, the office is mainly focused on small to medium sized workplace and living space designs and provides architectural services for private and corporate customers.

As TEMAA, our primary goal is to prioritize a comprehensive design approach that blends functionality and aesthetics together with specific details and without any compromise in design quality. We value the characteristics of the location, the needs and expectations of the client and we work together with the determination to achieve the highest level of spatial quality with full respect for materials, craftsmanship, environment and heritage.

From initial design to the built space, TEMAA offers a wide range of design services, including construction management and/or construction itself, to ensure that designs reflect the original concept, vision and ideas. We believe that every project has its own unique design process. We evaluate the design and construction processes in conjunction with each other in search of problem-specific design solutions and unique details.

We believe that architecture is the continuous production and shaping of space with time and place and form and material.

Ersin Temurcan was born in Bremen, Germany. In 1998, he graduated from the Department of Architecture at Istanbul Technical University. In 1995, he studied at North Carolina State University through an ITU scholarship. He received the Archiprix Türkiye Purchase Award in the 1997 competition with his graduation project. After graduation, he worked on various projects, both independently and in collaboration with partners. From 2000 to 2006, he served as the design coordinator during the construction of the Sun Plaza Office Tower in Istanbul. Between 2006 and 2024, he was a founding partner at SFGmimari, where he completed numerous architectural and interior design projects. With over 25 years of experience, as of 2024, he established his own firm, TEMAA. He is fluent in both English and Italian.
